As a former Fortune 500 Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and governance leader, Sue has built and scaled cybersecurity, privacy, governance, vendor risk, and incident response programs across complex global environments spanning real estate, financial services, hospitality, and government consulting.

Known for her calm leadership during high-stakes situations, Sue brings a practical, business-first approach to cybersecurity. She partners closely with executive leadership teams and boards to translate technical risk into clear business decisions, helping organizations mature security capabilities while enabling operational growth and innovation.

Her expertise includes cybersecurity strategy, governance and compliance, third-party risk management, incident response, business continuity, security awareness, regulatory readiness, and security program development aligned to frameworks such as NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR, and SOX.

Sue has led enterprise security initiatives for organizations with global operations, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, built high-performing cross-functional teams, and established cross-functional stakeholder relationships. Served as a trusted advisor during periods of transformation, growth, and leading or advising during crisis response.

Since 2021, her non-profit board work includes Cherokee Ranch & Castle Foundation in Sedalia, Colorado serving as Secretary of the board and chairing the Heritage Committee overseeing a multimillion-dollar art and antiquities collection.

She is recognized as a Top 100 North America CISO and holds multiple industry certifications including Boardroom QTE, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CDPSE, and CIPP/E.
